Nicola Johnston

Hello and welcome. I’m Nicola and I am the founder of NJ Change Management Consultancy and Coaching Practice.

I am a change and leadership development specialist, coaching psychologist, accredited executive coach and mentor with significant experience across a range of organisations and sectors over 25+ years. 

My work is grounded in psychology and systems thinking approaches designed to meet the needs of my clients. The primary focus is about designing realistic solutions to enable my clients to boost performance, wellbeing and inclusivity in both professional and personal areas of life. 

I have operated as a senior practitioner in change management, organisation development, professional interim management, learning and development and strategic employee communications assignments. 

I have had the pleasure of partnering with individuals and teams from diverse backgrounds, experiences and cultures across private, public and third sector organisations, including highly regulated environments. 

I work through my own consultancy and coaching practice and offer my services virtually, in person or a blend of both. I am also an advocate for and have experienced the benefits of working in natural surroundings. I offer my in person clients the opportunity to take conversations outside away from the normal office environment which can help shift energy and thinking. 

Clients report they welcome the confidential space I offer them, and they appreciate my curiosity, inclusive approach, warmth, pragmatism and customer focus.

Nicola is a positive, high impact professional. She is confident to ask the hard questions in a way that seek to facilitate progress and learning. Nicola ensured we stayed focused on the change agenda and supported me in the design and programme governance and the creation and delivery of workshop sessions for the top 30 managers and the senior management team. Nicola also coached a number of senior managers and mentored and inspired our Programme Office staff.
